A group of up to 12 gunmen robbed Emperors Palace Casino, just outside Johannesburg of an undisclosed amount of cash early yesterday morning.
But some of the money was soon recovered and police say they are hot on the heels of the gang.
Peermont Global Limited said the heist started at 5.45am when the gunmen entered the casino.
Swift action by emergency response teams led to the recovery of a stolen getaway vehicle and a stolen firearm.
 “A portion of the money has already been recovered,” said Superintendent Eugene Opperman. There were no injuries to staff or guests.

由于紧急救援队的快速行动，一辆被盗的在逃车辆和一些失窃的武器已被追回。

“一部分钱已经被找回，”负责人Eugene Opperman说。在这次事件中，并没有员工和客人受伤。
